Still open for business!

I'm writing this on the eve of our next lockdown - tomorrow 21st October at midnight the country is moving into level 5 restrictions which sadly means many of our business friends and neighbours have to close their shops, restaurants and pubs.

Like many, this throws up a level of anxiety about the unknown but we are thankful that our business can and will remain open. We will be open Wednesday to Saturday (10 to 3) throughout level 5 restrictions for takeaway and online orders.

Tomorrow (Wednesday) we're staying open late until 6pm to allow any of our customers who live nearby to do some shopping or get their falafel fix before the new restrictions kick in. Our courtyard is open tomorrow for the last time but there's rain on the cards so that's probably it.....

Recommended lock down buys - falafel - freeze and reheat in the oven - tahini & chickpeas - to make tahini sauce & hummus (recipes on our blog) - or you can freeze our hummus - frozen pita packs - buy as many as you can fit in the freezer - they're so good! - zhug - will keep in the fridge for approx 3 weeks - Moroccan harrira soup - can freeze - wine - we have tonnes of lovely European wine and you may need it!

Online orders You can order these online now for collection at the deli throughout the level 5 restrictions and all the non-chilled items can be ordered for nationwide delivery. We're working on a solution to send our fresh chilled food too - we'll keep you posted!

Catering & Hampers We will be taking orders for Christmas catering and hampers from November and will be open throughout for your Middle Eastern food needs.

Thank you to all our fab customers who have supported us throughout our first year in Tramore, followed by our first pandemic! You're all amazing!

Thanks a million and hope to see you all soon,

Nicola, Dvir and the Mezze team xxx
